Saw Mikael H at the Ambassador bar last ...
Saw Mikael H at the Ambassador bar last night - bought the CD and all. He's from Finland, apparently he's relocated to NZ - by the look of it he brought his entire ensemble with him. He plays banjo and has a cellist! Kinda folk, kinda pop, if I was going to draw a parallel with any other band I'd say the Tokey Tones, although the music's a little less quirky. He's a funny guy too.

That's cool, I've only heard a track ...
That's cool, I've only heard a track or two on the net, so I was wondering what to expect. Now I know so that's one less thing to worry about, just leaves singing in tune, remembering all the words and indulging in the free drinks the Cross supplies for performers.
