have been thrashing the new album ... wow. been a long long time since i heard well-crafted, inventive and intelligent pop. such great chord changes too. and so bloody interesting - it makes you listen, but like good pop it just gets you in the jiggle section of your head and makes you walk funny.
i'm going to go on about separate tracks at some stage ... but our friends keep borrowing the cd ...
the guy is a genius. it sounds like the product of effortless fun and naughtiness ... but it's got that weird touch of sublimity - everything fits real well in it, it's all so well directed and left-alone at the same time. nice.
