nikki sixx is writing a book called the heroin diaries which is solely focused on on his year between the end of the girls girls girls tour (i think) and recording dr feelgood....he spent a year pretty much doped up all the time...and mtv are making a movie based on the dirt and then motley crue are doing one last farewell tour with the original line up....and vince neal is going on celebrity make over to have plastic surgery and liposuction so he looks good for the tour....

I've wanted to read it ever since you raved about it ages ago, manamana. I'd like to recommend in return Geri Halliwell's biography 'If Only' - everyone who I've leant it to has found it really really fascinating, even if they despise her original group. It's a totally addictive unputdownable read.

The Dirt is a great book, full of funny as hell stories about four munters who basically did everything they could imagine doing. Especially love the bit where Tommy Lee shags a "groupie" and finds out it is Bruce Dikinson of Iron Maiden's partner and that they are on tour with them for a month!! Or the running out of heroin and mainlining Jack Daniels instead. There is something for everyone in that book....
