Yes folks, for the first time since '96 the Chills have been in the studio recording new material, which will culminate in the release of an ep, titled "Stand By(Something's Brewing)".
Hopefully this gives impetus to the Chills cause because the current line-up is hitting top notch right now, and it would be a shame for their talents to be reflected in this lone effort; I'm sure with the great new songs Martin and co have been giving an airing at live shows for the past 4 years - most of which will make it to this release - that the ep
should be well received.

All the material has already been ...
All the material has already been recorded; recording was done in the old Masonic Lodge in Dunedin, the same place the 3d's recorded 'Venus Trail'. All that is left to be done is the mixing and mastering, which will take place in Auckland at the hands of Martin Phillipps and Bryan Spittle.
