In the course of putting together my ...
In the course of putting together my links site ( which I'm not supposed to mention here-sorry Dust) I have dicovered that "Rockquest" bands are the largest group in NZ music to develop websites. So far I've found over 100, and because they tend to be hosted on free-servers they stick around for years, whereas a band that pools together to get a .com address tend to get the connection diconnected when they break up-making them dissappear. (Yay freeservers)
It's an interesting piece of trivia.

If you know the url to look for you can normally find past versions of sites via the Internet Archive's Way Back Machine.
I've found sites that've been gone for 5 years using that.
