I was listening to a comp from 4 years ...
I was listening to a comp from 4 years back called 'The Funky Precedent' and was surprised when I looked at the track listing to realise it had a Black Eyed Peas track on it. I've never really understood what people like about them, but this track was pretty good. No hook, for a start, very understated... they really have changed a lot.
For some dumb reason I still have a vivid memory of standing in Allans (which later became Smoke) looking at the first CD. It had a recommended sticker on it and I thought about listening to it, but never did. Fascinating memory to have kept hold of for 5 or 6 years. :P
