Zeebadees on Blenheim Road is a Council program well worth supporting. Obviously tailored to the younger set, it is however an excellent venue for any band with good stage, lighting, and a 10000 watt PA.The organizers are looking for original bands, so instead of moaning about theirs only 2 places to play in Chch, get off your backside and support this new and worthy venture. Their holding a battle of the bands soon, so if your light on material, that event may be a place to start. So lets see some enthusiasim Christchurch musicians!Opportunites like this are only viable if we get up, get into it, and get involved.

Its great to see council initiatives like this, there are plenty of high school bands nation wide who build up for rockquest and then disband due to not having anywhere to play. Similarily there are plenty of people who are not old enough to get into the pubs and need somthing to do.
So go this venue!!! get in there and rock the place out

a 10,000 watt PA sounds pretty impressive!, what kind of sound protection have you guys got going on?
is this specifically aimed at younger bands, or is anyone welcome?
