basically I need mroe power but have a lack of cash.
So I'm probably going to get a behringer 3000t, because its cheap and from what I hear pretty okay gear.
Anyway do I need a cab that has 300w or better speakers?
and has anyone had problems with behringer product, amps in particular?

if your amp is 300W then you'll need a cab that can take *at least* 300W max. (and check whether you're dealing with peak or RMS - if the amp is 300W RMS then the peaks will be higher than 300W, ahem, and if it's 300W peak then the RMS is going to be less, of course) if you're running the thing at full whack. I dunno with amp wattages too much though, I'm more the synthgeek, heh. I could be completely wrong.
When I was working in the Cockshop (good riddance) I saw quiiiite a bit of behringer (that is, in 6 months, 6 or so behringer mixing desks, in the time I saw one mackie come back) - make sure you hear the thing, A/B it with a marshall or whatever so you know what you're missing or gaining. behringer's shtick is basically to reproduce existing product lines with cheaper labour and parts (and more lawsuits, heh) - caveat emptor !

okay thanks for that, I'll still double check it with the shop people, but I'm just trying to get some background.
with the behringer I'll still compare it to othes, but its just so much cheaper that it makes it that much more attractive.. as in, is what I may gain with the marshall worth all the extra hundreds of dollars? obviously look at warranty and things.
