Like System Of A Down but crap even. Heh. In our defense though, it seems this particular reveiwer hates anything with distortion. Speaking of which, I have been trying very hard to achieve the afforementioned "jangly" guitar tone. It seems my marshall is incapable of it. Odd.
Like SOAD? Dunedin metal?? Well that explains why you cleaned up your "world" battle of da bands heat the other weak. I told those reggae boyz in the other heat it was a metalheads contest and not to bother ... : )
I dunno if that's true or not. Last year's regional winners were Sifty Chris and the Gladeyes, and they're about as far from metal as you get. I've also heard the bands winning the chch heats this year arn't remotely metal. I can't remember all the catergories on the judging sheets, but they include X factor, technical ability etc, so I'm guessing that if you display some of them, you'll do ok.
Speaking of which, we're playing at the BOTB regional final at Arc this Thursday if anyone wants to come along and yell yay. Or heckle. Either is fine.

These will be our last gigs before we relocate to Wellington in January. They will also be our last gigs with our drummer, as the Callabama Slamma will not be moving with us. We have just relocated to Wellington and would like to welcome our new drummer, Dylan Elise. We should have a set together pretty soon, so look out Wellington
Yes he was awesome, but unfortunately he has decided to give up the drums and pursue a life of deviancy. It turned out for the best because we were about to kick him out anyway due to his out of control junk habit and tendency to stop mid set and masterbate furiously onto the back of our vocalist, who felt mildly uncomfortable at this public display of man mikage. Also tensions were already high because of an incident involving a home enema kit, some draincleaner, and a back catalogue of "Big Busty 40 and Over". There was also the feces, holy water and rack of lamb incident. We do miss his erratic banging, but his departure was best for everyone.
Finally, our collective creative spunk has splattered the unsuspecting faces of homo sapiens world wide. Yes, we have released something. Our debut EP "Loudious Deepthroatus" is now avaliable through the Dls/Merch section of our webpage, or through Real Groovy stores nation wide. It is an expansive 6 song journey through the inner recesses of inner recesses. It also has a video clip in avi format which one critic has given two thumbs up and he also mentioned something about a semi. As well as the EP, we have mens and womens tshirts, so now you can have a cock on your chest in public without getting arrested.
