To celebrate the first year of WYWS we're giving away of compilation of music by people who have played at the previous 7 gigs, including Hummel, Little Thief, and SstimulusS.

I meant to say earlier, but I reckon this is a good bet for anyone complaining about the state of NZ electronica.
From everything I've heard so far it's all about enjoyable stuff to listen to, rather than adhering to genre rules and so on.
I don't think anything like this has happened in Wellington since that series of gigs at Matterhorn... which were maybe 5 or 6 years ago now?? Certainly not the same scale either. Running for a year is a hell of an achievement.
