Managed to catch the last three songs. Great new band. blew me away, look forward to hearing more from these guys. Connan is an amazing talent so refreshing not to mention the bassist and the drummer as well.

Hey Ronald James. Yeah were hoping to get our first ep finished soon, so well be sure to post something up here. Ummm...were also hoping to get down to the south island within the next few months, mabe as support for Paselodes next trip? I dunno, but we'll get there :)
World domination is imminent.... for now, though watch out for the EP "Naughty Holidays"; due for release late July. We are hoping to book Happy and we have invited The Chandelaires as our special guests. Next gig: Tuesday night Rock Cradle @ Indigo, 13th July.
Just got back from the gig at the Katipo, it was incredible.
Connan is the best guitarist I've ever seen (heard?), and the drummer and double bassist rocked. Nice songs and really nice vocals (awesome effects on the vocals and guitar too).
Do you mind answering some questions Connan? Like, where did you learn to play guitar like that? How long've you been playing and what sort of guitar is that?

Umm, that guitar I use is nothing but a fender strat with its horns cut off. I spose ive been playing off and on for nearly 10 years now, and like everyone else, the way you play is just the way you enjoy i guees? Hope that answers some of your questions? :)

I went to the gig at indigo last night and it was COMPLETELY PACKED! I dont know how many hundreds were there! I've been to many indigo nights and that was the biggest tuesday night I've ever seen! Thanks for the awesome night!

Hey Phil. Wow thats a big drive! I hope you have fun. I'm sorry we arn't playing in Dunedin...I wish we were!!! But the shows in Chch are still going ahead. I think the Uni ones (12 and 1pm) are in an auditorium if its too cold or raining, otherwise its out in a quad? Sorry I don't know much about it and also sorry that the ep is still not ready otherwise I would have given you guys some. Anyway thanks for your support and see ya soon!

Things are moving on and going good since the premature breakup of 'Grampa Moff' at the end of march.
My new band is now under the name of 'Connan Hosford and the Moccasins' (connan vocals/guitar. Ross double bass. Seamus drums/percusion )
First gigs:
-thursday, 20th of may. Valve bar with 'Circus Machine'
-friday, 21st of may. Katipo bar/caffe with 'Autumn Stone'
