Dude, a pie is all about the insides, otherwise they wouldn't have different types of pies, eg. steak n cheese, mince n cheese, pepper steak, potatoe top, chicken etc etc. Pastry isn't very filling or very nice tasting, so if you want pastry, go buy a packet from the supermarket, heat it up and eat it . Hah.
