It’s that time of the month again!
The new issue of New Zealand’s independent music magazine A LOW HUM is coming out, and is once again presenting shows with fantastic bands around the country. This time the touring band is Ghostplane, from Wellington. Their debut release, ‘Panther Valley Country Club’, (Arch Hill) has been receiving kudos and accolades from journalists throughout New Zealand and we think they are just wonderful, so invited them on a tour.
Warming up the shows in Christchurch and Dunedin will be Christchurch faves, The Undercurrents, whose bnet hit, ‘When you Wish Upon a Star’, and an oddball, haunting cover of ‘My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean,’ (renaming it My Bonnie Lies over the River) make their four-song CD a worthy keeper. Joining Ghostplane in a brief yet poignant romp around the North Island, Fang will be playing their most loved and celebrated melodies to audiences in Auckland, Napier and Wellington.
