Here's the semi finished product, it's one of the tracks off our upcoming EP, were still looking at getting it mastered but it's sounding pretty good as it is, i produced this myself so any suggestions on production mainly would be mint.
if this suits anyones idea of a decent quality demo i may be interested in recording for a few bands as well, i'm located in west auckland.

Thats an impressive quality demo and a pretty cool song dude.
Just a thought but i wouldnt have compressed the snare that much and possibly would have mic'd underneith the snare as well (time and gear depending of course), and possibly make the bass a tad more prominant.
Id pay for a demo of this quality - you have done a great job man, congradulations :-)

didn't actually use any compression on the snare, it just came through all muffled like that, cymbals were very loud too which was a big no no, EQ and some light reverb fixed a lot of that though, and yeah i was gona raise around 4db at around 80hz on the drum track to make the kick a little punchier, but i don't want it to distort, i recorded the kick fairly quiet which was another fuckup on my account! was the first time i'd ever recorded drums, next time should be a lot better!
