Onanon release a proper album!

The Onanon album is unbelievably good. I just keep listening to it and singing it. It has completly altered my perception of the band. If you like anything to do with the 'Dunedin sound' eg Chills, Clean, 3D's etc - then buy this album. That's not a threat it's a promise.

Long live Onanon

where can I get a copy in Wellington?

Slow Boat, i think. we have a 'distribution' agent up there (our mate Chris) who is putting a few copies in various/the usual places. i'll hassle him about it ...

any chance of seeing it in Invers??

or christchurch? I'm curious to hear what you guys sound like

um, not sure about Invers ... Play It Again's the only place isn't it? and you the only buyer i'd say ... i'll email you or you email us if you like - onanon at ihug co nz, and we'll do something about completing your collection! ha!

we're keen to get to Chch, but we often get played on BFM, apparently, which is cool - sounds like they play geetar music ... we're looking into putting CDs in Galaxy etc ... Echo - the Dunners store, has a few copies - maybe the Chch will get it from them ...

distribution is an ass.

Powertool Records might be taking a few and spreading them around too ...

d'oh .. RDU means i. in Chch. d'oh.

and we sent a few copies to RDU - they might give one or two away if you ask nicely.

yeah Play It Again would be the only place who would do it, since the only other places that sell cd's are Sounds & I guess the Warehouse *rolls eyes*
yeah I'll give you a e-mail now

heh i may just have to check to see if the cd is in the studio or been put on playlist next time i'm in at rdu

For the record, the Onanon album is currently available in Dunedin from Echo, Records Records, Sanctuary & Disc Den. In ChCh you can get it from Galaxy, in Wellington, Slow Boat and Real Groovy. Powertool records have the cd available online as part of their distribution catalogue (www.powertoolrecords.co.nz), and will hopefully they will get some into the Auckland shops too. If you're still stuck for a copy email us at onanon@ihug.co.nz and we'll pop one in the post.
