I'm in a band and looking at insurance options. I basically want to have my gear covered at home and at gigs, but so far I've found that insurance companies won't cover you at gigs, on tour etc.
Are there any musicians out there who could offer me some advice?

if you own your own home you should be able to sort something with your H&C, make sure it includes transport between home and venue.

I can see their side on that one, i mean i guess there is the "rock n roll" steriotype associated with touring and gigs etc, not too mention that anything could happen on tour. But good luck man on gettin your gear insured. :)
