Its not at all right to have a female music award and not a male one, but thats simply the way this country is. Hell if your a middle class white male then your not going to recive any favours.
I dont think its rockquests thats governing this lack of male award - i just dont think anyone has put one up. For example im sure its a private party that sponser the female award??? Maby the someone will come to the party and put up a strictly male award.
Anyway good luck to all bands who are entering, i had a blast back in my day at rockquest. First big P.A, Frist largish crowd, its a good time :-)

Aw, you poor disenfranchised thing! Probably the reason that they don't have a middle class white male award is because 90% of the rockquest entrants are middle class white males.
