I definitely want to see a clairvoyant- I've been quite sceptical in the past, but I've had some very freaky experiences lately which have convinced me to look for answers in the psychic realm... very hard to talk about from an emotional point of view, and also without coming across like some kind of new-age spiritualist, but yeah, I'm going to see one, even if only to satisfy my own curiosity...
I tried a plastic cup seance with some friends in high school once, and that was creepy. After the one try we all decided it was best not to try it again.
One guy couldn't let go of the cup, I mean thats just screwed up...
I went through a phase of going to see a palmist regularly - her name was Maria, she was eastern European, had a stall in James Smith Markets and had a hacking smokers cough. At times she was quite accurate - she often new which decisions I was unsure about. But i guess its obvious that if I was going to see her, I wanted some kind of answer. And because I just look like that kind of girl, she always knew it was about boys. I made a few choices based on what she said, but in hindsight she was just telling me what I wanted to hear when noone else would support the choice I actually wanted to make. I'm not sure if she had anything pyschic going on, but she was a very perceptive person.
Although I do have a friend who went to a clairvoyant when she was younger, and everything she said has come true, except the part about her going to jail in a third world country.
ive never really been to a face-to-face psychic before but i have rang those 0900 ones - and trust me they are a big fucking joke. first time - nothing this lady said came true and yet it cost me $9.87, second time - the stupid arrogant bitch claiming to be a "psychic" cut me off within the first 2 1/2 minutes, arrogant i see but its her funeral cos she aint gettin paid as much as she thought innit? this left me $11.36 less off.
yeh right grimmy.......for all i know she could have been a dole bludger claiming to be a "phone psychic" yet collecting thousands of $$$ per week while keeping her dole.....maybe it was that WINZ lady in lower hutt who ran the service.
I've been twice (different people) one of them was really accurate regarding the past, even got some names right (that was a bit freaky). She describes situations that have had a bit of an impact on your life and people you know (what they look like, personality and sometimes even their names).
She also told me I was the middle child of 3, that I have 2 brothers. I was quite impressed by that, until she told me I would get married to a taller george gregan look a like!!
She gives you an audio tape of the session, my whole family loved the part about Georgie, bastards!
This lady starts by talking about the past, the present then the future.. will be interesting to see what happens. Another thing I thought was interesting, she talked about me having a common interest with my brothers and talked quite a bit about that. She only takes your first name and a contact phone number and you basically say nothing to give away any clues - she holds a piece of jewellery that only you have worn.
With regards to future happenings, I guess you can make these things happen, but I think this lady is actually genuine.
Live your life naturally. They're there to manipulate your mind...if you think about it..you turn to them then whatever they say you take it into account & then your decisions & your ways start being about or related to whatever they've told you only because you are expecting it. Although, it may be true it is not something to be messed with. Take life as it comes. Guide yourself the best you can & use COMMON SENSE in all lifes decision making. Thats the best clairvoyant as I will be for you today.
i haven't had much dealings with clairvoyants, but i know a lot of astrologers. these things aren't specific to the point of saying that if you cross the road at x time you will be hit by a car, they're more viewed as guidelines to aid a decision, for instance if you're thinking of making a large financial decision, and the stars say "be careful of making large decisions", you would proceed with caution. the way i see it, it's just a way of encouraging you to think more about what you're doing and hence to make a more informed decision ... it's like a fortune cookie, you get whatever wisdom you can take out of it without necessarily basing your life on it, because one piece of wisdom isn't going to be the be all and end all.
