REHEARSAL SPACE IN WELLINGTON

Hey!

I'm a student here in Wellington and it's come to my attention (from others and people from this site) that many bands out there are finding it impossible to find a place to play after being kicked out from the Factory right? well I was thinking that maybe I could try to find a place in the city to rent and make available to all the bands who wanna use it, I know it's not that easy to do, but if ppl out there could give me an indication whether or not they would be interested, how much they would be willing to pay etc, I think we could really do something about it...Soundproofing, and having a drumkit and amps, not too worried about all that yet, just wanna know if ppl out there are willing, then maybe I can work something out... lol, forever optimistic, that's me.

a romantic idea.. im behind it but good luck finding a spot that wont get noise-controlled in less than a week. especially cbd (property developers are packin the suburbanites in under that old "wellington - hamilton of the future" kinda swindle.

give it a couple years when the market oversaturates and all these throw-together prefab mod-con aprtments become the new "scodey warehouse flats"

but blah blah but yeah - if u find one - i know bands who will be down for the cause.

remember to check for security too.
