NZ IDOL

I know this topic is now like a dead duck, but im an avid hater of pop, and espicially pop idol and NZ IDOL. They have no talent and the creators should be hung and left out to be beaten by the people that know music. Is anyone out there EVEN INTERESTED IN NZ IDOL???? if so please leave your age as ill be keen to know who does actually watch this hit. if u hate it FUCK YEA

I love NZ Idol.

I've enjoyed being obsessed with the show since November last year.
I've followed all the show's happenings since the announcement that the show was going to be made, up to the latest gossip about who will be singing what at this week's soul-themed show.
I watch every show as they go to air, and video tape them and watch them again to help me write recaps for idolblog.com
I've been in the audience for one performance show and one results show. The performance show was exciting and made me realise how much hard work the contestant put in every week. The results show was a totally thrilling experience and unexpectedly emotional and sad.
I love pop music and am glad that the boom in the New Zealand music industry has meant that New Zealand pop singers are enjoying success.
I like NZ Idol and I eagerly await the grand final.

But I'm also a huge fan indie rock and I really like going out, having a couple of beers and seeing a really cool band or two playing loud guitarry music in a small smoky bar.

Hi, I'm 23, and I'm an avid idol fan. Admittedly, most of the pleasure I get from it comes in the form of criticizing their clothes in the livejournal NZ Idol Community, but there have been a few performances that blew me away, and the odd contestant or two who have really caught my eye.

And like Robyn said, normally I like indie music and smokey bars too. Idol isn't about the music, otherwise it'd be a radio show. It's about what makes good TV.

lolz well i love pop but yeah and i love either shit too, but i aint a fan of nz idol, new zealanderz cant vote for shit. and i know for a fact that thiaz way better singers than that, they just choose not to get into all that shit. i hear more talent on the coast when all the young ones and the oldz are getting on the piss with the guitar and just jaming all together. so yeah but well good on them, if new zealanders are dum enough to keep them thia well it aint the idols faultz BIG UPZ TO THEM

the prog is pretty good! didnt like it before but now im addicted to watching it..and oooooo you should check out www.idolblog.com its such a cool site!!! and um yeha......meting the idols at st lukes were awesome! real nice peeps! :)
