Just thought I'd let you know this fantasticly talented young group from Oamaru,(the oldest is 16), have just scored themselves a record deal . They start recording in March and are already recording a rockumentary on their rise to success.You wouldn't believe all the breaks these guys have had even if I told you!!! As a muso myself it's been incredible to watch!!!
I personally have never seen such maturity in music composition and playing ever for a band so young.If ZED are the 2001 NZ version of the Beatles then the ROSS BROTHERS are our ROLLING STONES. They're edgy ,catchy and ROCK!!! They're gonna be HUUUUGGGGEEEE!!!!

I CAN'T REVEAL TOO MUCH AT THE MOMENT FOR PRIVACY AND CONTRACT REASONS BUT ONE OF THE BREAKS WAS THE GUYS GETTING THEIR VERSION OF THE COCA COLA COMMERCIAL CHOSEN ALONG WITH ZED , JORDAN LUCK AND ARDIJAH.NOT BAD COMPANY TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH CONSIDERING THE OLDEST BROTHER IS ONLY 16!!! COKE HAVE ALSO GIVEN THEM THEIR COMMERCIAL AIRTIME ON "JUICE" TO PROMOTE THE BOYS UPCOMING SINGLE "YIPPEE-KI-AY". WELL DONE COCA COLA AND LETS HOPE OTHER MAJOR CORPORATES GET BEHIND OTHER GREAT NEW ZEALAND BANDS!!!

Today the ROSS BROTHERS started ...
Today the ROSS BROTHERS started recording of their single "YIPPEE-KI-AY" at top South Island Studio BLAST in Christchurch. Blast was chosen by Allan Jensen of OMC's "How Bizarre" fame as his prefered studio in which to produce the song. Watch out for the single soon to be available on Universal Records!! It's gonna be HUUUGGGEEEE!!!!
