Hi there sam from devil gate drive here, just after some contacts for some venues around the nation. Arc Cafe-Dunedin, Wundabar-lyttelton, Phat Club-Nelson, Any All Ages venues in Christchurch, thanks for any help, also if anyone knows of any venues that u think are musts to play at then please let me know, thankyou xoxoxo

Cleanie! Sorry to interrupt this topic but - is there anywhere with live Celtic music, or even at a stretch Celtic themed venue, anywhere in Dunners on Thurs or Fri night this w/e? Mother is visiting and is oh so into anything Celtic. It'll all probably be gone after St Paddies but hopefully the ones that remain will be the true Celts.

Please be knowledgeable as I know you are

hmmm ... the Albert used to have live celtic music on Mondays, but that may have changed, there might be a small chance they will have something playing on a Thursday and onwards.

Dicey O'Rileys is a another that has live bands on now and again ... but as you say, chances are that all the celticness will happen tonite and everyone will be calming down/hung over later in the week.

the ODT is good for listing celtic music, on its entertainment pages. there's a chance that some pub, maybe Rosie's (is it still Rosie's? on the one way?) or something down in south Dunners has a live celtic band on Thurs/Fri night.

the only one I think in Invers that would would do 'all ages' would be the Embassy, but that might be too big for you.
The R18 ones are Tillermans & The Globe, but Tillermans might be losing their 'live band' sence because they've got 'DJ Biggles' (local shittie DJ) in charge of entertainment, which is a bad move.
