Did anyone see the TV3 documentary done in much the same vein, but in the states? it was on the other night. All very interesting stuff, 1 in 10 million were the odds given for their major label pick up etc... just to keep the rest of us aspiring artists in our place.

I'm not sure you'll need qualifications. Go get involved with your local student radio station, a lot of the tv presenters you see in music television these days came through the ranks of radio. You dont need to go to Broadcasting School to get into radio either, unless you're total cabbage, just go volunteer. Learn that way, the experience is worth gold. You'll soon learn if its what you REALLY want to do as well, without wasting a wad of money. A passion for music will be a must, you'll also need a sparkling personality and good general knowledge. Failing that, be a total sex goddess and read from cue cards.
