I’m currently writing an article for The Press and I want to use one of the poll results on the Top Fives. I want to refer to nzmusic.com as “New Zealand’s leading website on New Zealand music” (or something along those lines to give weight to the quote, thought it’s not a big serious article), because I’m pretty sure that’s the case, but if my editor was to do a fact check on me, is some one able to give me some stats to back me up?
My article is due tomorrow noon, so I’m cutting it pretty fine, but I would be greatly appreciative if some one is able to give me some sort of stats/accolades list for nzmusic.com, by tomorrow morning?
If I can’t get an answer by then, I’ll still be very grateful for any kind of information on how nzmusic.com rates in it’s genre so I could use it for future reference.
thanks

Eeep! for how long will the Top fives poll stay open?
I've sent out an e-mail to info@nzmusic(or something rather) and to Teina but I've had no reply
(it may have possibly been blocked by spam guard)
Cheers
Do you mean the Top 5 Lists available ...
Do you mean the Top 5 Lists available through your profile? (Technically speaking we don't have a Top 5 "poll" as such).
Top 5 Lists will remain open forever, in theory. Some Top 5's may be of a timely nature, and may be "closed" at some point but the results be always displayed on the NZMusic.com.

Yep,
the funny thing is, in the opening paragraph, I'd written "The biggest website on New Zealand music, nzmusic.com....." and it was printed as "The biggest website on kiwi music" on thursdays paper, and on the stuff.co.nz site, it's written as "One of the biggest website...
Hehe, it's like an editors chinese whispers...
(you must forgive me for calling the Top Five's thing a poll, sorrry, eep - crouching in phoetal position- but, but, with a limited word count, "poll" was the shortest way of describing it)
