whats up with them not showing the cricket, I don't have sky so I look forward to this time of the year where cricket becomes free to air. But they're not showing it, they're showing a bunch of rubbish no ones likely to watch anyway. I thought reserve day, starting a little late, they'd allow for the doco they were showing to finish, and they did; fair enough. But now some stupid show about training a cars salesmen or somethings on.
If you're going to commit to live sport, then show the bloody game!

they had the whole thing live on ...
they had the whole thing live on Wednesday thus cutting the Simpsons out, but i hadnt had a prob with that anyway. What i hate about TV3 is it Promos it stuff too excessively ie. promos DURING the middle of the show coming across the bloody bottom of the screen annoys the hell outta me. also TV3 is noted for having excessively long self-promotions JUST BEFORE A SHOW OR AT THE END OF AN AD BREAK. (worse than the other 2 cahnnels) and that 2 annoys me. But away from the ranting about TV3s excessive and intrusive promotiions, i have to give it credit for Buying the rights to show the SImpsons off TV2 - TV2 Was bloody hopeless in its time-keeping (it still does as well) so over all i think TV3 is better than TV2 (In fact i seldomly watch TV2 Now - just a couple of sitcoms - otherwise i totally loathe it due to its appalling time keeping ability and the remainder of its content). TV3s time keeping ability is way better but it should stop those intrusive during-show promotions and reduce the amount of self-promotion especially the length of some of them.

well listening on the radio the games a stinker anyway.
I don't have a huge problem with any of the tv stations over all, I just get frustraited when situations like this effect sporting matches, like when they used to cut off the last five overs of a oneday match or innings to go to the news, as if it couldn't wait till the break in the game.
I can understand people not wanting to see the cricket, but I think enough people do that it should become a priority.
to tell the truth I have not noticed the promos and excessive self advertising by tv3, a little during the cricket, but it does not phase me much. Anyway I find most good tv is on late at night and in the wee smalls of the morning, maybe its just the cheesy tv shows I like to watch that other people think are supid. I should really tape these programs as to get to sleep at a better hour... only problem is that often there are two shows on at once... letterman and becker, or letterman and dead last or some combo like that.
these mid-program self-promotion is ...
these mid-program self-promotion is quite often seen during the simpsons and malcolm in the middle, but seriously i do wish they'd stop playing self promotions so bloody excessively long - Were here to watch whats on now - not in 2 weeks so what im saying to TV3 is - "Get with the Point", and "Keep it Short and Simple (or the KISS Theory)"
I know this is actually off topic.. but ...
I know this is actually off topic.. but sam has kinda made it part of the topic... my god, those self promos Through the shows are so irritating! They completely take your eyes away from the action on the actual show...its like the new ads theyve been trialling on nzm cept a million times worse..what i cant believe is that they are actually getting away with it...where have all the people gone that complain about those logos that the tv networks like tv3 put up at the bottom of the screen thoughout a programme?thye didnt manage to get rid of those, but heres a new campaign for them...

I wish they would keep sport off TV3!!! let TV1 have it so I don't have to watch it!!
I used to love days where they would ...
I used to love days where they would have gt3's on one, breakers on two and super 12 replays on three, all at the same time. But my ideal would be a united sports channel between both networks, shared funding and shared profits... just a free to air sports channel, theres a music channel, so why not a sports one? cost tooo much I guess.

Man, this was sooo annoying! I tuned in to see if it was on, there was no announcement, so I assumed it was rained out and ... well went and sulked I spose! Then I'm watching 3 news and what do I hear but we're about to win!? So then I flicked over and listened to the commentary on the scrambled Sky UHF to hear Mills almost blow it again (what a stupid fool that guy is ... and a chucker!). Damn 3 I'm sure they said it'd be on when it was rained out the day before!
Oh well ... 2 weeks to the NRL starts, then it'll all be alright (and I'll get Sky installed) ... GO THE KNIGHTS!!!

well I'm going to wait and see what comes out in the wash now.
I've heard one reporter say that she was all keen for it on a night prior, they gave it to her, then when she wanted a second round a few days later, they refused and she got angery.
I reckon what really would of happened as she would of lead on, then got way over her head when she realised what animals they were. Now how that stands up I don't know, but I think its still pretty unpleasant.
oh, I've been a warriors fan since they entered the competition... just so you know I'm not on the band wagon. :)

I've been following this whole thing ...
I've been following this whole thing on the Sydney Morning Herald website and some of the stuff that's been on there about the supposed culture at these clubs is shocking ... if true. But the fact the Dogs have had similar allegations against them before indicates that there's at the very least some dodgyness going on.
As for the Warriors ... I think you're allowed to jump on the bandwagon if you actually live in the place the team pays ou of ... but I've been going for the Knights since their day 1 ... 1988 ...
