Ghostplane - The Panther Valley Country Club

Excellent. I have been looking forward to this for yonks.

The posters for the release gig are quite excellent. Well done Toby Morris. I was accused of being on drugs last night as I gazed upon the poster in the window of Slowboat. But I wasn't. On drugs.

Yeah - the EP is fantastic, and it should be great gig, I'm looking forward to it as well.

The poster - cheers Eddie, but watch that space (especially maybe on wednesday?)... I shouldn't say anymore.

Speaking of posters... I'm sitting here mulling over maybe doing a zine of posters I've done in the last little while. Good idea? or Wankfest?

I reckon you should Tobes!

Could you also do a version in A3 for our bedroom walls?

Ta

//Good idea?
Yes.

OK - maybe I will then. Dunno about A3 though eh. You could always buy a copy, take it to the photocopy shop and get it blown up yourself I guess.

that would be fucking cool.... i could name a fair few people who would love to get their mittens on something like that!

yes. please.

yayayayayayayayayayayayayayaay!

Presenting a Gala Celebration at the Panther Valley Country Club

Come celebrate with your hosts Ghostplane as they drink, make merry and toast the wonderful cacophony of acoustic and electric guitars, miscellaneous semi-functioning electronic devices, lopsided rhythms and old drum machines that make up their debut record Panther Valley Country Club released by the wondeful Arch Hill Records

Having already entertained at the country club with Calexico, The Verlaines, The Bats, The Pretenders and pals The Phoenix Foundation, Ghostplane are now opening the doors of the Panther Valley Club to the general public.

Situated at Indigo Bar on Cuba Street, the open evening will commence at 9pm on Saturday the 13th of March with entertainment provided by Samuel Flynn Scott of The Phoenix Foundation, followed by Gran Prix and then your venerable hosts Ghostplane.

I love the Panther Valley Country Club.

Wish I could be there on Saturday. Have fun you crazy kids.

Got the EP a couple of days ago. I like it a lot. So diverse for such a mini album. A Little Beck, a little Calexico then theres funk and then there is a digeredoo.

In The Woods is my favourite track.

Looking forward to the party.
