what a dumbass - ok so i admit that when i have the odd labouring contract to work on i still get the dole but i Always notify WINZ to tell em about it and even then depending on how much i earn its scaled back for every $1 earned past the $80 threashold mark. I Reckon she should be jailed for at least a couple of years and have all her assets forfeitured then auctioned off to the Taxpayer in general - After all she brought the stuff off money stolen from the taxpayer so they deserve to get some of it back.

Never. I just take it for what I see. I commend people who do this ""BUT"" must I add - that they are ""GENUINE"" people who actually do really deserve a helping hand..
Yet I can't say that its a good thing that people are doing this..its just 1 situation we're referring to here of someone who probably has a background of harsh living or something similar. Some people you just have to know to make the right comments & statements whereas when you dont have a clue "WHO" this person is..instantly it makes her really look like a freeloader.

Good on her. I wouldn't care less if it was my pennies she be taking hold of because quite frankly I still earn the same amount of money weekly, taxed the same for every dollar I earn. it's bad that she stole money from wherever, but the fact that she was too STUPID to use it effectively is more grating, i mean honestly, if you live in a 'lower socio-economic' area such as wainui, and start forking out cash on your house and god knows what else, people are gonna start asking questions. if she'd moved into wellington, or central hutt or wherever, people in wainui probably would have just written it off as 'going up in the world' and the new neighbours couldn't have cared less what they spent on the house, they would have just assumed the woman was well off....
i would have thought it obvious that the trade off of stealing so much money would be that you would at some point have to call it quits and move on to a new life in another city, if not another country
