Yeah I know its already half way through 2004 and 2003 is like so last year, but i figure its a good time to reflect:
1. TrinityRoots
Saw them a number of times in 2003, always outstanding!!!
2. Pluto
Didn't know too much about them and only them once at the begining of 2003 but they impressed the hell outta me!
3. Fat Freddy's drop
Saw them about 3 times I think, 1 time they opened for with salmonella dub who were same old same old but then FFD came out for the encore and blew s/dub apart!
4. Blindspott
Not really a huge fan but saw them once live at the start of 2003 and they played a great gig!
5. Pacifier
To tell the truth i dont think i saw them in 2003, but they have made my top 5 by the fact that I grew up in Wgtn and grew up going to shihad gigs, have been to enough to know that they deserve to be there.
Disapointment of 2003, Goldenhorse. i like there stuff on the radio but saw them 3 times in 2003 (and once this year) and live they have always let me down. ( to be fair I might have to see them in a club or something as i have always heard them at outside gigs and the sound always felt washed away)
