We're writing a column for NZ Musician magazine entitled 'Talking Pictures'. It's a look at the music video industry in this country, with some of its important figures.
The first column is called 'Show me the Money - NZ on Air' and features an interview with Brendan Smyth about the role NZOA plays in funding music videos.
The magazine is due out in a week, at most music stores around the country.

People often tend to overlook music videos and just focus on the music. But videos are a huge part of the music industry today. It's at the point now where there are people in NZ who pretty much get to make videos for a living (or close to it), so it's definitely a subject that deserves more attention.
