I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem, but for the last couple of days when I come to forums it never stops loading. The green status bar at the bottom of my explorer is always on, the only way I can stop it is pressing the stop button a couple of times. It only happens with this site.

I get a similar thing - it's (most likely) the redsherrif code at the bottom of the page which is making a call to another server. If that server is busy or down, it can take a while (or not work at all). You're onto it just clicking stop a couple of times - it's the very last thing at the bottom of the page, and isn't required to view the content, so can be cancelled without any worries. one less page-view hit for the site, though. ;)

I'm still getting an error when a page loads - sounds like it's related... happens on my work PC and my laptop from home. XP, IE6.
Was fine Monday night from my laptop, although I noticed I was logged out when I opened NZM - that seems to happen when you've changed something (gives me that whole Matrix black cat deja vu thing). Tuesday morning I started getting the error.

Hi, just so you know, I'm still having this problem. The page loads OK, but then I have to click the Cancel button the moment it's loaded or the browser freezes. Happens on my work pc and my laptop.
It wouldn't be so bad except usually I refresh and minimise while the page loads so that my boss is less likely to catch me surfing. Not that he really minds too much as long as I get my work done...but y'know - don't want to look like I'm slacking off all the time...
