karam,
living in beijing,
punk/rock scene is quite strong
let me know if you need any help

Hi, above. R u from Beijing? Punk scene in beijing has been kept for several years since around year 1998. It appeared only old-punk at very first, now it is mixed with new-school and garage.

There is markable Neo-metal wave since year 2000. Lots of KoRn-like bands came out but some of them vanished even without a trace now.

Another popular scene is Eletronica/Club music, which is strongly supported by jumped-up officer-mid-classes, apart from faithful students. Last christmas day, BT toured to Beijing, after other DJ-like musicians like Paul Oakenfiled, Sasha, Timo Mass, ORB and others like.

Apart from those E-music participantors, the Rock musicianists are still living in the edge of society and been rejected by radiostation. Good sign has been emerged since last year, over 10,000 people gathered for a FREE 3-days rock music festival which have been kept for 5 years as an annual event. http://www.niubi.com is a website introduced underground music in Beijing, which is held by an American who ever studied as an international student in Beijing Language Culture Uni.

Still I am open to all the people want to group and play music I like!

nah i not chinese, Im a new zealander, but I just wanna go

I'd like to if it's possible to allow me to stay in South island. Not this moment. I think there will be more chances in China to be future star rather than in Japan.

You could find out more info. about china rock at http://www.scream-records.net which is a local indie-like label in Beijing. Yes, the only place in china there is rock is Beijing, bearing that in mind.

I am waiting for anybody picked me up...

My mobile fone should be 021 111 0119

I just think Asia looks like a wicked place to visit musically, it appears to me from what I have been told that japanese and chinese people don't question if something is cool, but if they like it they really like it
Bejjing?? I kinda have more hookups in japan, Ive got a mate who used to live there, I will check out that page. Where abouts in the south island are you?

Sorry, I am in Wellington rite now.
