both were great at the Kings arms at ...
both were great at the Kings arms at the start of the tour, DDD basically got up on stage and assaulted the audience... for the first time at a mint chicks gig in Auck there were loads of people who had obviously just read about them somewhere or heard they were cool, and came along to be seen watching them. DDD just cut them down where they stood. my most vivid memory of that gig was some well heeled, professional 30something woman beside me looking on in utter shock asking her equally bewildered friend/clone beside her "is this the mint chicks?, is this who we came to see?? they can't be like this" then the mint chicks got up on stage and did it to them again... I didn't know whether to be happy or sad.
