well thats what i heard as well...so i'm not too sure if the rumours are true or not...a friend of mine got an email from the manager and it said something along the lines that they are on a break at the moment and more will be revealed in the new year.
hopefully they havent broken up cos they rock...and i dont want to see a good thing come to an end....

The latest in the continuing saga is it definitely looks like they have split. For some bizzare reason Weta's management don't want it to go public yet. They told the fansite about the split but then got pissed when they put it up as news. they then told them they had to take it down. Thats why it's no longer there.

well that is my friend's site and the management did get a bit pissed off at her for posting it on her site...but then again the rumours of them spliting have been at the weta club for ages (the yahoo club that is). but i wrote to the guys yesterday and sent the letter...there's no knowing if they will get it but here's hoping that they post something soon. i think that they havent announced anything because they have the australian release of geographica to contend with...

Well I know this other band from ChCh that are going over to aussie to stay and perform with Weta and they are definately still going over in a couple of months. They would of been told if they are splitting.
