Hmm... I don't like the new format they've taken on. In a big studio with a live audience all going: Wooo Oooh... look at the shiny car. "Everyone get in, and have a look guys!" and they all smile and ooh and aah.

The old format was much better. more civilised and whatnot.

The pre recorded car trials are still very good though.

Top 5 Discoveries of the past week

1. The Office is even funnier when watched drunk, dressed in a suit and by yourself. At 3am.
2. The airing of current chart-topper 'I Hate Everything About You' forces me to contemplate hurling myself from a moving vehicle which I happen to be piloting at the time.
3. A Perfect Circle occasionally makes music that is so beautiful it hurts. But their new CD is still growing on me.
4. Call of Duty is harrowing, in a way I never thought computer games could be. I'm used to playing NBA Jam on my Genesis emulator... seeing 500 Russians mowed down on the shores of Stalingrad really doesn't make me feel happy.
5. Socks kick fucking ass.

Top 5 Guys:

1. Evan from Secret Life of Us.
2. Ricky Gervais
3. John Campbell
4. Sid Meier
5. Rob McCann

I am so madly in love with Evan that it hurts to watch the programme.

SLOU is my 'feminine indulgence' programme. Goddamn it's good. And I relate so much to Evan it freaks me out.

I watched the recent series on channel 3, and now I'm watching the previous series on Sky1, which is confusing. Do you know what the story is with new series'?

You relate to Evan? Want to get married?

The third series was the last series that they made and apparently it was much better than the second series, but given how the 2nd series bombed on TV3 and got relegated to the 11pm slot, I don't know if TV3 will screen the 3rd series. I'm hoping and praying that they do.

I don't know if I'm as, um, adorable as he is, and not quite as heart-on-sleeve, but yeah let's get married - Evan would never die wondering so why should I.

So the current Sky1 series (where Will's girlfriend gets killed) is the first? I can't believe the 2nd season bombed - we had about 25 people in a 3m x 3m room! I'll write a letter if they don't show that bloody series....

i <3 evan too! i love that show!

i wish i hadn't read the episode guide though....

yea...i loved secret life too....I related heaps to claudia Karvans character...even though i'm a guy...crikey she made me sad sometimes , the bit where she asked her boyfriend to stay after he had broken up with her was heartbreaking :(.....i heard she and joel edgerton are not in the third season? does anyone know?

//but yeah let's get married - Evan would never die wondering so why should I.

Yay, finally all hitting on people via NZm has paid off!

When Sam died, it was bloody horrible, will was so lovely. One of my all time favourite moments was when Ritchie told him he was gay, and Will said "We're going to need some more beer".

// i heard she and joel edgerton are not in the third season? does anyone know?

i do.

(go find the episode guide)

Not only did they put SLOU on at a later time - they never properly finished the season, did they? They just dropped it. So annoying! That makes it less likely that they would bring in a new season right? And here i was thinking i was the only person who watched that show...

//Sid Meier

sometimes i think he's playing us, instead of us playing his games. they are so good. i'm mired in Alpha Centauri at the moment. yummy.

tv3 are going to play the 3rd series sometime this year. it was in that letters part of the tv guide a couple of weeks ago.

//i'm mired in Alpha Centauri

That is one of the coolest games ever.

//tv3 are going to play the 3rd series sometime this year

Heaven.

Comic Sans is not top five material...

That "font" is an insult to beautiful sans fonts everywhere. Kill it! Kill it dead!
It makes me want to hurt people! So does that font on the Karen Walker Young, Willing & Eager shirts...it's so common! (so common in fact that I've forgotten the name.) UGH!

Sorry, Prozaco, Verdana is Top 15.

number one for me is verdana.

comic sans must die.

awww jeez.. thats scary..

our in joke is - take a hexidecimal (or hexi for short)

as far as untensils go I really like ladles. we have one with a goose head for the handle , ladling with it never fails to brighten my day. ladles make me think of that kids song 'and he played uopn a ladle , a ladle, a ladle, and he played upon a ladle and his name was .... 'I can't remember his name , maybe Axle something ? I want to say Axle Drum but that seems too weird. Does anyone know what song I'm talking about , and the ladle musicians name? After writing ladle for so long I'm not sure if I'm spelling it right....

There came a man to our town,
to our town,to our town,
There came a man to our town,
and his name was Aiken Drum,

And he played upon a ladle,
a ladle, a ladle,
And his name was Aiken Drum.

And his hat was made of scrambled eggs,
scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs,
And his hat was made of scrambled eggs,
and his name was Aiken Drum.

And he played upon a ladle,
a ladle, a ladle,
And his name was Aiken Drum.

His shirt was made of fish n chips,
fish n chips, fish n chips,
And his shirt was made of fish n chips,
and his name was Aiken Drum.

And he played upon a ladle,
a ladle, a ladle,
And his name was Aiken Drum.

His pants were made of sausage rolls,
sausage rolls, sausage rolls,
And his pants were made of sausage rolls,
and his name was Aiken Drum.

And he played upon a ladle,
a ladle, a ladle,
And his name was Aiken Drum.

There now , everyone can stop fretting.

Actually that is an updated version. Here are the original lines...(because I'm sure everyone cares so deeply)

And his breeches made of haggis bags,And his buttons made of penny loaves,And his coat was made of good roast beef,And his hat was made of good cream cheese,

Feeding the Toilet is my personal euphemism pick

Cook a meat loaf in the porcelain saucepan ..heh
