I've just been checking out the lastest stuff from the Dead Pan Rangers new album. It's pretty sweet. I've never heard them before and am wondering how they managed to slip under my radar. I'm gonna go check them out at the Dux (CHCH) tomorrow night for sure!

Did you end up going? I did. I was a little disappointed actually. I got the feeling that the Dead Pan Rangers are so much better than what we witnessed on Friday night. Why didn't they get some sleep before playing? There were some magic moments though - dunno their stuff well enough to name the songs. I think their album might be worth buying all the same.

Yeah I did end up going, was slightly disappointed as well unfortunately. The mp3's of theirs that I heard were quite different to what we witnessed @ The Dux and I too think we should blame it on lack of sleep.
