I've never watched an idol/popstars show before, but I'm going to watch the auditions at least of this. Won't most people? I want to see if I know anyone. Then I shall namedrop about it constantly.
the auditions are the only good part cos you get to see all the true freaks and self deluded rural nutters who think they are famous. or, fat still in the closet dudes with a Spice Girls thing. its scary but funny. And, you will definitley see someone you know. its NZ, right?
Watch & keep an eye on my pal WIREMU. He's this maori dude whos got it going on.
Made it to the top 100 so we shall see...the heat is definitely on. I'll be watching for the same reason as well to see anybody we know as well..that would be so cheesy & real funny.
yea, usually just pay attention to he first episodes to see the worst of the worst and then probably watch the final cuz it'll be all anyone talks about in the few days leading up to it and the few days after
i take no notice of these half-baked reality shows jam-packed with rich and spoilt attention-starved 20-somethings, c'mon its Giving my age group a bad name, we can be doing better things over than pathetically attempting to draw attention to ourselves on National and International Television. if we want to perform at least join or start a band and launch your future from there other than gamble away your future without knowing a chance you get anywhere.
BTW this goes for ALL Reality TV Shows, not just (enter name of country here) Idol.
and it all started in NZ! Peter Uhrlich has a lot to answer for. i hope he took some percentage deal cos JEEZ! from the UK he would be a fat wealthy man.
then he could all do us a favour & give up the 'nice n' urlich' day job. the only thing worse than house music is a 40+ loser shaking has saggy butt & yelling in a microphone over the top of handbag house. god awful.
