You can try Planet FM & create your own programme it would definitely help you out as a radio host/dj but theres one catch..you need to pay reasonable amount in fees, its an awesome way of getting you own shit sorted the way you want to produce it etc so try them out..look them up on the net..can't remember their site but its Planet FM as I recall if you're in Auckland presuming??

Oh wow that sounds pretty cool. I'll try and contact them to find out some more about them, but it sounds like it could be good. Would they be on the net? I'm looking for their contact details?!

Yes they are on the net..sorry I dont know how to locate them in a flash but they are definitely on the net..perhaps try an advanced search.. Retrieve Cyphers Corner somehow through the threads cos I know of that being part of their programmes. If I find it in time i'll let you know..If you're in Auckland its the station after Niu Fm anyway that does all your bilingual programmes.

planet fm once had a show called 'the power chord show', duno if it's still running. try e-mailing thepowerchordshow@hotmail.com. The guy would hire out an hour studio time (for a few hundred an hour or something, can't remember how much), and you could do what you want with that time, i got to see the place cause they interviewed my band on air, the facilities are pretty good, ideal for starting out.
best of luck
