ok, need a hihat and a crash. 14" and 16-18" not fussy.
also need a snare stand. this is for a drum kit that was given to me as i am learning it (normally trumpet and keyboards) so if anyone has these bits sitting around gathering dust and thinks they should go to a good home to at least get used then let me know. my email is clord@xtra.co.nz. if not in auckland i'll just do an online bank transfer then you could courier them to me. did i mention cheap? well of course as i am not intending to be a professional drummer (trumpet is my ticket) just doing it for fun i see no need to spend big. anyway i'll leave you to go ferret through your junk piles.
ta muchly.

the cymbals suck anyway. they're a Paiste 101 14" Hi-Hats (the worst series Paiste ever made) & a old Zilco 20" ride (this is a cheap Zildjian 2nds, made in their old Canada factory, which is now Sabian). Also got 1 old Paiste 14" hi-hat (I broke the other one) & a Zildjian 14" Thin Crash that got cut down badly to about 12" sounds like crap now. I've also got a Zildjian 18" Oriental Classic China, but its got a huge chunk out of it with a crack forming below it, its currently on my wall, but I don't think I'll sell it, because its basicly junk now.
How much are willing to spend?? I'm from Invercargill (in Auckland now until saturday).

spend? piss all for the job they are doing, its a set of drums set up in my shed that i will just go bash on now and then, a couple of mates may come over for a minor jam session but thats all. the kit will never go any further as druming is not my main interest! rock and latin trumpet is what i love but i had to sell the trumpet and wont have another for a year at least so this is a pastime:)
in saying all that i really dont want to fork out more than 100 for a hihat, another cymbal and a snare stand. cheap ass i know but its the situation! really any crusty old gear will work for the fun job its doin :)
