Perhaps organising a meet on the day of big day out should be before it starts so that nobody misses any of the bands they wanna see, either that or have it on a diff day completely, Big day Out is a mission in itself and meeting with a whole group of ppl is probably too hard to arrange on such a busy day. Having a meet another time allows ppl to actually get to know each other instead of randomly saying 'hi' and having to go again.
