New Zealand needs an international skateboarding tournament something like a 3 or 4 day comp with big names such as Tony Hawk and local champs such as Bernie Foo, something like a skate comp would really get us on the map as well as expose local talent.

NZ, or Auckland at least, needs a better public transport system. I hate spending 10 bucks (and close to 3 hours) a day on buses to and from the city. Compare this with Melbourne where trams and trains come every 10 minutes and $3.50 (i think) gets you a full day pass. I know they have the population to sustain it, but c'mon, the public transport round these parts sucks.
