snap! since you brought it up, yeah, love the risqueness of Letterman. doesn't matter which political party is in power, everyone is ridiculed - very Aristophanes.
can't stand reruns, too much saccharine for me. especially Wonder Years and Happy Days. they're so syrupy they make my teeth feel like they're rotting.
MASH is ok though. it's a bit challenging and at times just plain uncomfortable. and damned funny. though sometimes a few too many allusions to Groucho Marx, but ... jeez who doesn't love the Marx Bros?

I for one lover letterman too, its one of the few shows I really look forward to seeing on tv at the moment. I can see how some people don't get him, but they are usually the type that don't keep up with current events, so half the jokes fly over their heads.
But the most frustraiting thing on tv is fox news, its propaganda USA, we love bush and own Iraq, you are not worthy to be on our plain, the terrorists fear us... ARRGGGHHHH!!!!! I just can't stand them, but I can't help watching to just see what stupid thing they say next. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against amercia, just fox news. Even abc and cnn question topics from both sides.
I don't watch the old programs on prime, just not usually watching tv at those times, but M*A*S*H* is great, mixing policital agenders amongst comedy.
