last year's was TOTALLY FANTASTIC and I definitely recommend it to anyone - I can't go cos I'm gong to Rippon in Wanaka (hooray!).

Re: J Day - last year it was a major disappointment in Wellington - no action whatsoever, just a few groups of people sitting around Frank Kitts waiting for something to happen, which it didn't. So here's hoping that there's some organisation this year - bands, speakers, that sort of thing.

reminds me of J-day 2001, we stayed under a gazeebo for 45 minutes in the rain smoking some Medical Grade Herb then we find out J-Day gets cancelled cos of the Rain Innit.

If you're in Aucks this weekend then come down to Albert Park from around high noon till half 4ish Valentines Day. (How sweet & romantic for the stoner couples).
Anyhow you can enjoy the sounds of:
Cornerstone Roots, Bassteppa Sound, System, AK Samba, DJ's Slowdeck & Big Matt plus more to be confirmed..gots to be there..
...along with guest speakers, market stalls, fun games inclusive of Growers Olympics & much more..
No dogs, alcohol and the concert is intended for adults so yeah maturity is a must..

(Official International J-Day will still be held on the 1st of May but the venue is yet to be confirmed).

i dont care about the legalisation cos people will always smoke regardless of the law..its the concert & a day out really for people to smoke it on a social given day rather than behind the scenes. At least its once & not always!!

  • Licenced Coffeeshops would reduce the supply and demand schedule of hard drugs such as P by up to 50% as police would have more resources busting down P Labs rather than harrassing somebody with 1/2 a joint in their pocket.
  • New Zealand will once again become what its intended position was - a Liberal Tolerant Nation that respects the rights of all.

    I must be wasted of course DER!! I get stoned to get wasted but I so know what the cause is for. Thanks luci sam for the backup. I am going there to enjoy the scene to get stoned with my friends & be happy & merry that we can actually have a concert together to support the legalisation of this herb.
    In a way I dont really care that its for the purpose Im more into the going out, smoking legally for the day type thing & of course I do support it just by being there..Im not really concerned of the outcome of how weed will come into effect in our laws but I am concerned that on other given days we can't smoke like we can at this concert..if you know what I mean..must you always be so negative!! Gosh!!
