Whopper Chopper!!

I figured it would be cool to see what people think of the Whopper Chopper summer series, now that it's nearly upon us (in Wellington at least) - I think it's already done most of its first tour this summer. Last summer was my first experience of the fun/sun that is the Whopper Choppers and I'm looking forward to this time round!

If anyone's in Wanganui see you in Castlecliff tomorrow for the international pirates convention ... also, any one driving back to Wellington Sat/Sun?! I'll be wearing a red cap!

Forums: NZ Music,

.... guess there weren't many nzm-ers in Wangas for the weekend.

If anyone's interested: it was an excellent day, good weather, good location, right beside Castlecliff beach, renowned internationally for it's white sand and ripping surf .... I got there pretty late (had to scam a bicycle! to get out there) but in good time for some Cornerstone Roots action. Very chilled out. Awesome to see so many people having a dance in front of the stage - which is a very cool pirate ship, hope they bring it to the Welly shows - including lots of kids.

Roll on Frank Kitts Park on the 19th... and beyond

I have missed the shows but am enjoying the Whopper Chopper CD.

so sad. so so sad. a whole 'nother year to wait... curse wellington weather...

i heard a whisper of potential goings on whopper-chopper style this weekend... if we're all really nice to the weather maybe it'll come to the party too?
