Yes, it was proabably the best few hours of music television I have seen since the demise of MaxTV and Mtv. From about mid-afternoon to midnight: nothing but flashbacks - and James Coleman being annoying, but that didn't matter much. Jeez - there were some awesome videos, including some songs I forget even existed - Public Image Limited's Rise, for one - what a cool song. They also played the FULL version of U2's Where The Streets Have No Name rooftop video, as well as the bootleg How Soon Is Now? video by The Smiths.

If at least one day of the week was devoted solely to flashbacks, I'd be a very happy chappy indeed. What a way to start the year. Great stuff, C4.
