i know. i wasnt complaining about the ads. i was complaining about the double standards that you cant play general advertising on TV of Xmas day (nor good friday, easter sunday or anzac morning) but promotional advertising is acceptable. yes i know theyve done it for ages but maybe the broadcasting act?? should be changed to either ban television Promos or allow General advertising on these days, it will remove the double stds. that previous govts have set.

sometimes programmes come to the station already cut into segments, with gaps for commercial breaks included. if there were no promos to play in the gaps you'd have to sit at the tv and watch either a black screen, test pattern or something until the gap lapsed its time.

Nah, they'll be delayed like hell, as per usual. I can't wait, dammit! It'll be interesting as to whether they wait until next Christmas to show them.
