Does your band need more exposure? Would the internet be a good way of reaching and keeping in contact with fans?
I will design an interesting professional website for your band at a cheap as, predetermined price.
I am a NZ music supporter and musician myself. I am not only doing this to scrap up enough cash for bloody xmas! but to help a few bands out and show my support for NZ music!.
I can show you a few demo pages of my work to show you what your site could look something like.
Please email for more information if interested at sam.good@xtra.co.nz

Hi all
Moved in Auckland a while now, it has been a long time since I have played with others or written anything...and would love to continue with whomever wants to jam.
I play any songs that has good, meaningful lyrics and also enjoy working on songs written by my friends.
I am no pro and still have a lot to learn and am looking for anyone who would love to play for the sake of making music. Depending on the commitment of others would be nice to have a band...
To give you an idea of what I can do check out this short video I posted on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VbpfvJgopw
As for your music inffluences it can go as far as India, Ireland, France...(I don't care) as long as you got rhythm; being a mixed race I have a lot of inffluences.
Well, I am very excited at the prospect of playing music again with people.
Let me know if you're interested...:O)
answer to all of those questions is yes except the last. sory dude sounds wicked but im poor as poo.
sweet as man. If ya ever need it and have the small amount of $. keep me in mind. Ill be happy to help out!
How much money are we talking about here? just give me a rough estimate or something if its not fixed...
$50 up depending on what you want me to do. Ive got a form here if you want to fill it in for me.
Send me an email and ill send the form back to you. The form just gives me an insight into what you want and allows me to estimate how much time it will take me to complete.
Cheers

i want to see some demo pages. do you have a link to some kind of portfolio?
Sorry. no online portfolio but if you drop me an email at sam.good@xtra.co.nz and Ill send back some pics of a site ive been working on over the past couple of days.
Cheers
I'd be really keen to get you to do some, but I also want to see a site, in action, that would show me your talent. Couldn't you put something up on a free server like geocities or something? i don't just want to see screen shots.
thats a good idea. Ill get on to it and then post the address back here
Cheers
Heres the link to some of my work. I was able to put it on a web server for free but they put their advertising all over it. The advertising has disrupted the layout of the page as its trying to put an advert in every one of the 3 frames on the page. This has lead to things like the logo having a missing section and certain bits of the navigation frame unviewable. I assure you it works fine and displays normal on my local machine without the adverts. You should be able to get an idea about the site anyway.
Cheers

The Anvil says(in a moment of lucidity) "Get thee to orcon.net.nz where there are no ads, 10Mb of free hosting and Free Email, and make your left frame scrollable"

haha...love your website. I feel like a star. Bro, I'm nobody! I'm stoked that you feel I am important enough to warrant my own section. Cheers! I hope you get more content...ooooo, maybe I won't be elected prime minister.
from your website:
//In the interests of being able to say whatever the fuck we like without fear of retribution in this small, fickle and cliquey country those that are The Anvil will remain anonymous.
ah...more like, you are a pussy and are afraid to stand behind your word. There are plenty of people on this site who make much more ballzy statements then you, and they are not afraid to let people know who they are.
// The Anvil would also point out that all slander is in the interests of ego control and is therefore a public service and not intendended as malicious.
bro...my ego was under control, until you made me feel like some sort of celebrity. I still don't understand what is so funny about that email I sent you..haha..
keep it up. The Anvil website is hilarious. Scandal, there are no scandals dude, go back to working for People magazine
// The Anvil would also point out that all slander is in the interests of ego control..
What slander? The Anvil sending a slag-off email to blink, and then reporting that blink said "hey, chill out, I was just trying to help..."?? Gee, I'm sure the earth moved under the feet of kiwi music politics. The Anvil sounds like a school dropout stoner who wants to be Duncan Greive.
i especially like how the "title" of the site is "Welcome to the Horror of the Anvil". haha
that part where i ask him to contribute...man, thats damning!
I would definately recommend every band having a website, or at least registering here or at somewhere like bands.co.nz
I am the webmaster For Intergalactic Records and when I put up the gig guide for the week I like to link to band pages so that the punters can get an idea of the kind of bands playing. Its also good advertising for the bands, especially since we get several thousand hits per month.
It really surprises me that I am only able to find websites/profiles for about 20% of the bands
