I was not expecting much from the nz cricket team on this tour.
But then after there first game effort my expectations went up a little, but now they've come crashing down again somewhat. I'm not totally dissapointed, it was always going to be very hard for them, besides, its only the Pj festival game :).

Theres just so much more involved in test cricket, I guess if people know little about the game they will always see oneday cricket as better, as its over in a six hours and there is a result at the end of it 99 times out of 100. But they miss the tactical side of having two innings, inforcing a follow on, battling to save a match.. or how many days to bat for before putting the other team back in. How many runs to get before putting the other team into bat, cutting enough time so that you can win but not giving the other team enough time to get the runs realistically... but enough time to make them think they could pull it off....
