Yes, I withdrew my comment that it was *all* overrated. I still think basically all the mainstream NZ hip hop, that is played on the radio & TV is utter rubbish.

Maybe it is light - but i would sure like to listen to King Kapisi or Che Fu, or any of the boys than to killing, shooting, murder, westside, eastside, segregation amoungst people etc. Snoop Dogg, Eminem, all of them - they have their place too. But good on NZ role models to promote (from what i've heard and seen so far - i could be wrong) unity amoungst nzers and that nz is a great country. It has it's downfalls, but it really is a great country.
