Top 5

I don't know if this has been done before but I want to know everybody's Top 5 favorite albums and artists. And which album will you be buying next?

Forums: The Bar,

My top 5 well...its quite hectic to think but nevertheless from the top of my head..

Krayzie Bone (Thug Mentality)
Nate Dogg (Music & Me)
Bone Thugs N Harmony (Volume 1 The Collection)
Tupac (7DayTheory, Killumanati)
Monica (All of her albums)

The next one I hope to purchase or download (forgive me!) is DJ Uneek's Unrealeased.
Sorry guys maybe you not know what Im on about but if you a real hip hop fanatic as i am then yeah that one. I still love NZ music though. Its still the bomb.

1) Season for Assault (8 Foot Sativa)
2) South of Heaven (Slayer)
3) Metal Up Your Ass a.k.a Kill em All (Metallica)
4) The End of All Things to Come (Mudvayne)
5) Opiate (Tool)

And next I want to get Seasons in the Abyss by Slayer - I'm no music expert - these are personal preferences.

// these are personal preferences.

As opposed to...?

//South of Heaven

1) Headless Chickens - Greedy (which I admit has been my favourite album for yonks)
2) The Vines - Highly Evolved
3) Green Day - Insomnia

Lostprophets - The Fake Sound of Progress
Radiohead - the Bends
Coldplay - Parachutes
Glassjaw - Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence
Incubus - Make Yourself

And i've ordered 'War All the Time' by Thursday, so that should be getting a fair bit of play on my sterio, once it's shipped in for me.

In no particulat order
1) Radiohead - OK Computer
2) Ben Folds Five - Ben Folds Five
3) Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out
4) Brendan Benson - Lapalco
5=) Elliot Smith - XO
5=) Jeff Buckley - Grace
7=) Pete Yorn - Musicforthemorningafter

I didn't read the post properly. There are quite a few CDs that I want to buy, I just bought Radioheads Hail to the Thief, and I’m really enjoying that, but over the next couple of weeks I’m probably going to buy Red Hot Chili Peppers Greatest Hits, Supergrooves new album, R.E.M. Greatest Hits. But probably the next CD I’ll buy is Brendan Benson re-release of One Mississippi with a bonus CD.

1) Miles Davis; Miles in the sky
2) Prince; Sign of the Times
3) Marvin Gaye; Whats going on
4) Straitjacket Fits; Best of
5) BB King; Completly Well
Iam going to buy Pink's and Jamouriqui latest for my two eldest daughters for Xmas, for my wife its Lifehouse[spin?] and for myself Im going to get Herbie Hancock box set.

Live After Death- Iron Maiden
The Real Thing- Faith No More
Killjoy- Shihad
Loveless- My Bloody Valentine
The Surveillance- Trans Am

Next disc- Maybe a best of The Hollies, or Pink Flag by Wire

OK, I bought 2 new CDs at Real Groovy:

Ryan Adams - Rock 'n' Roll : I bought this on a whim after hearing it over the speakers. It's a good old fashioned RAWK album with a very 70s/glam feel to it. Bound to spend a bit of time in my CD changer these holidays.

The Wrens - The Meadowlands: An indie release by a four-piece from the states. Think Wilco meets the Cars. A few instantly likeable songs, some some real corkers.

Top five albums:

1. The Beach Boys - 'Pet Sounds'
2. The Beatles - 'Revolver'
3. Love - 'Forever Changes'
4. XTC - 'Skylarking'
5. The Zombies - 'Odessey and Oracle'

And I'm never quite sure what CD (or LP) I'll be buying next....

1)Stone Sour - selftitled
2)Blindside - Silence
3)Pantera - Reinventing Hell
4)Nirvana - Nirvana
5)36 Crazyfists - Bitterness The Star

the next album i will be buying will come down to either sativas new cd or smashing pumpkins greatest hits

Get Season for Assault, support kiwi metal and greatest hit albums are a waste of time because you only get songs you've heard before and they get boring quickly.
