Sorry nzmuso I came back from betchadupa/panam as pissed as a chook and fell asleep listening to Ben Kings debut album, which is beautiful. My band is playing tonight at edens bar 335 K Road if you are in town.
Next time you're bored, please post something more mind stimulating..thats sure to have been post worthy.. (Just getting you out of your bored frame of mind into a more feeling something mood)..
I don't think being bored is that much of a crime. It is a wake up call to get off your ass and do something. It's alot easier to apprieciate how fun the simple things are like doing the washing after being bored. It makes conversations more tolerable. For example I have had a really fun morning and now I can't bare to talk to anyone in the staff room unless thay have something fun to say. I can't stand being used as a 'mmm', 'yes' person because they have so much to say about themselves and their boring lives.
How true can that be. I certainly agree. Nothing is boring. We only need to occupy ourselves with anything. Being boring is just not being stimulating enough to one's self.
I was bored today and then decided to go down the street and see if anything was going on under my nose. Turns out the neighborhood goons were having a meting.
You only need to do something to get out of that boredom mode. Anything! Your interpretation is great. See, you always gotta go somewhere or do something to provoke a discovery.
I rarely get bored, just was on this particular night. NOt as bad as some days at work mind you... but just at my ohter half's house, and he was busy catching up with some old friends, and i was just feeling like i wasn't in my own home and i would much rather have been. NOt that i have anything against his friends, just at that time, i really wanted to be at home in my own bed. :o) Actually, i think i did go to bed after that post..... :o)
Well, you're boredom has provoked a good thread..thanks for being bored. i know the feeling when your significant other half is chilling with their crowd..you know not to be there at certain times cos it aint cool..common sense gets you everywhere.
I know where you're at... I get like that sometimes, just in this really negative, inactive mood, for no reason at all, and it can be really hard to shake it off. Like a big, dark blanket weighing me down. I just have to get out and walk somewhere. Breathe the fresh air. Anywhere. Explore. Wander.

Sing your little heart out.
Not that I find myself in those sorts of situations regularly. When I do sing I find it very therapeutic... Sometimes at work, my work mates join in and we take the piss out of each other and before you know it... The boredom is gone.
Sure. Pull your head out of your own pity, and you'll notice how much shit everyone else goes through as well. Some of us just choose to rise above the shit others throw at us.
